About the Opportunity

 

We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Management Officer to join the team at CleanCo’s Wivenhoe 570MW Pumped Storage Hydro Power Station.  This newly created role will provide a high standard of support and service regarding contract management, maintenance management, master data, planning and scheduling processes. 

 

You will provide workgroups with accurate short-term and long-term work plans, as well as fostering effective communication strategies, allowing the efficient completion of work in a safe, cost effective and timely manner.  You will be responsible for the coordination of contractor’s work daily and supporting the delivery of outages, capital improvement programs, site services, overhauls and site projects.  You will conduct a range of analysis using SAP to monitor maintenance performance and drive continuous improvement, maintenance processes, contract effectiveness and project management. 

 

This is a site based full time permanent opportunity that will work 36.25 hours per week on a 9-day roster with every second Monday off.  To be considered for this position you will live (or be willing to relocate) locally to the Somerset region or within an hour’s drive to Wivenhoe Power Station at Split Yard Creek.

About you

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

 

  • Demonstrated maintenance planning/scheduling and systems coordination experience with heavy equipment exposure, preferably within power generation industry. 
  • High level computer literacy including the use of Maintenance Management systems, Safe Work Systems, Microsoft Suite, SAP and other business systems.
  • Contract and project management experience that ideally includes qualifications in project management or maintenance management.
  • A current open manual Driver’s License (C Class) is essential. 
  • Experience in the coordination, planning and scheduling of work for a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to undertake a range of data analysis to track and monitor maintenance management performance using SAP.
  • A recognised trade certificate (electrical or mechanical) is desirable.
  • Understanding of Safe Work Systems, including Confined Space, Safe working at heights and associated protocols.
  • Experience applying asset management and budget principles.
